Ross Brian Thompson, 47, of Point Pleasant, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2015 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Perth Amboy to James and Andrea Thompson, he was a former resident of Freehold, and has resided in Point Pleasant for most of his adult life. He was a graduate of Manasquan High School, and was a well-known chef at the Ark Pub in Point Pleasant for many years. Ross was loved by his family and friends; he always helped people in need and had a genuine kind heart. He was an avid sports fan who loved shopping and had a great passion for cooking.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Ross Thompson. Surviving are his beloved mother, Andrea Dini Thompson; his dear brothers Keith Thompson and wife Tammy, Douglas Thompson and wife Tamar, and Christopher Thompson; 5 nieces and 1 nephew; as well as many extended family members and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick.
